The Carpathian Basin Enterprise Development Venture Capital Fund aims to invest in the development of international, primarily cross-border, economic cooperation between Hungarian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, with a special focus on the establishment and mutually beneficial operation of long-term production, service, research and development and labour training relations.
The fund will finance both the expansion of Hungarian businesses looking to expand into neighbouring countries and the expansion of innovative companies coming from neighbouring countries. Whether the company is originally Hungarian or from abroad, the investments will be made in Hungary. It provides capital of up to 20 billion forints to support cross-border economic activity.
